All markets on the MUX protocol currently share the same open interest cap for short positions; however, this setup can make LP interests unstable and impact the balance of trading experiences under each market. Due to the given reasons, the MUX team will adjust the open interest caps for short positions as follows:
BTC: 18 BTC
ETH: 300 ETH
AVAX: 1500 AVAX
FTM: 85000 FTM
BNB: 100 BNB
This update will become effective on Aug. 11th UTC, 2022. The MUX team will continue to evaluate the abovementioned open interest caps, and we might make new adjustments in the future after the MUXLP pool depth grow deeper.
