The liquidation fee was introduced to the protocol previously, aiming to balance the protocol risk exposure. After continuous assessments, the team will lower the liquidation fee rate from 0.5% to 0.3%. The maintenance margin (MM) will remain at 0.5%. We hope this change can help to provide a better balance between trading experiences and protocol risk exposure.
This update will become effective on Sept. 15th UTC, 2022. The MUX team will continue to evaluate the liquidation fee, and we’ll make further improvements in the future based on analyses. Please let us know if you have any questions.
