# Payed seven hundred for a transaction. how come?

I made a trade a payed 700+ USD in fees.  
How come? This ruined me

Hi, the 0.3988 ETH ($780) indicated in the transaction is your collateral sent to the pool for opening the position; that wasn’t the fees deducted. After you close the position, you will receive the collateral with PNL and fees applied back.

You can check your detailed trade history regarding fees charged on the leaderboard page
