# Adjusting Short Position Open Interest Cap Under Every Market - 2

The MUXLP pool continues to grow deeper, and the demand for raising the short position cap has increased lately. Therefore, to better suit traders’ needs, the open interest caps for short positions will increase as follows:

BTC: 44 BTC  
ETH: 700 ETH  
BNB: 300 BNB  
FTM: 155000 FTM  
AVAX: 4100 AVAX

This update will become effective on Aug. 27th UTC, 2022. The MUX team will continue to evaluate the open interest caps, and we’ll make further improvements in the future as the MUXLP pool grow deeper. Please let us know if you have any questions.
